at the moment they share staples center in downtown LA and both have fans all around the county. and a lot of people are fans of both teams.

Lakers and Clippers often play in the same arena. They used to be located about 10 miles apart, both in very poor parts of Los Angeles. Lakers won a couple championships and got a new arena downtown. Now they suck. Clippers are mostly still across town. Fans are widely scattered for both.
